The family Bathurst appear to have come to a very quick conclusion following the death of the Earl in the autumn, and have allowed the league meeting on Feb 5th to go ahead in the Park as usual. Or to put it another way, please do not go to Ascott-under-Wychwood after all. The venue and courses of previous years at Cirencester Park will be used.

Please accept apologies from Cirencester AC for any confusion caused. They wish to make it clear it was not of their making and they’ve made every effort to remedy the situation. And it appears that they have done so successfully.

Thanks are due to Witney RR, and John McCormac in particular, for volunteering the alternative venue and going quite some way to allow Cirencester to host there.

Please pass this on to all your members, and also to anyone who may miss out any other way.
