SEAA Cross Country Championships
We urgently need athletes (first claim only) for teams to enter the SEAA Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill Fields, London on Saturday January 30th 2010.
If you are interested please let Jo Byren know ASAP as the closing date is soon. No late entries allowed.
Age groups:
Under 13 boys/girls (must be 11 on day of competition)
Under 15 boys/girls
Under 17 men/women
Under 20 men/women
Senior men/women
We can have up to 12 in a team, the first 4 to score (6 to score for senior men) but more can run. There will be chip timing.

Brilliant Beth Hawtin bags the family honours.
Beth Hawtin the youngest of the talented sisters finished in second place in the U13 Girls race in round two of the Chiltern Cross Country League held at Wigmore Park Luton on Saturday 7th November. Beth finished seven seconds behind the winner C Lewis from Chiltern Harriers, Mya Walker 73rs & Beth Mulvany 79th.
Oxfordshire Cross Country Championships 24th January 2010
The above Cross Country Championships will be held at Upton Lodge, Astrop Road, Middleton Cheney, Banbury, OX17 2 PJ.
Car parking will be £2 to cover the costs of First Aid & Portaloo.
McCain UK Cross Challenge Liverpool Saturday 28th November
Some Oxford City AC athletes will be flying the flag at the McCain's Cross Challenge at Liverpool on the 28th November. All age groups are catered for & entries close on the 20th November.
In past years about 8-10 juniors have experienced one of the biggest X/C competitions in the country.

OCAC men top the table.
Oxford City AC men top the table after the opening round of the Oxford Mail X/C league staged at a very wet and windy Ascot-under-Wychwood on Sunday 1st November 2009. The first man home for the club was D Bellinger in second followed in third by S Male, 9th was A Burgess,28th B Green, 47th C Thompson, 58th T Dixon & 57th P Huxley.

Melissa takes the U17 Womens title at the Birmingham Cross Challenge Senneleys Park, Birmingham Saturday 24th October 2009
Melissa Hawtin won the Junior / Under 17 Womens race on Saturday in a time of 13.49 from Amber Watson Stroud & District 14.15, Lauren Hawtin finished third in the U15 Girls race in 12:03. which left the youngest of the sisters Beth who finished second to C Cayton-Smith NewQuay & Par.
Harry Robertson finished 12th in the U17 Mens competition.
