Birthday girl Lauren Hawtin wins Gold at County Championships.

Lauren Hawtin won the U15 girls individual Gold medal at the Oxfordshire Cross County Championships held at Upton Lodge Middleton Cheney on Sunday 24th January 2010, Lauren is in a golden vane at present finishing 44 seconds in front of team mate Imogen Kempton in second, Rebecca Byren was 5th, Elissa Clark 7th and Kathryn Munday 20th the girls also won the team Gold.
Younger sister Beth returned to winning form taking the U13 girls Gold medal 21 second in front of Megan Humphries from Radley AC, Storm Sunderland finished 4th, Elish Evans 7th, Beth Mulvany 9th & Mya Walker 13th the girls just held off Banbury AC to win the team gold by 2 points.
For the first time this season Melissa Hawtin ran in her own age group U17 women in an Oxfordshire competition and like her sisters won gold coming in 2minutes 15 seconds in front of her nearest rival, Jade Walker finished 3rd & Hannah Sangan 6th and the girls again took the team gold.
In the U11 girls race Georgina Moss took Bronze, Ciara Huxley was 5th, Ellie Millington 9th & Emily Wood 16th. The improving Lizzie Berg finished in Bronze medal position in the U20 womens race, Martha Lloyd lead the senior women home to the team Gold in 4th position, Clare Grierson 10th & Lisa Sammons 11th. Christine Marshall finished 7th in the V35 & Gwyneth Hueter took Bronze in the V45.

The very impressive Darrell Bellinger took the senior mens title finishing 35 seconds in front of Chris Gillespie from WHH, John Robertson finished 6th.Dave Parson stook the V60 title. Freddie Sunderland was 5th in the U11 boys & Nat Jones took a hard fought Bronze in the U13 boys competition. Mathieu Marshall took the U15 boys title folloed by team mate Josh Tack in Silver. James Cody ran the race of his life to finish 4th in the U17 mens race followed by Harry Robertson 8th, Edward Nesbitt 9th, Ryan Meredith 11th & Sam Kelly 19th.
