This time only managing to field 8 athletes in this match Oxford were beaten to the post on the day and finished 5th overall. With 7 seasons best and 5 personal best performances once again the team pulled together on a cold day against some very good competition which included, Kent AC and GB international Conrad Williams. It was a return to form for all-rounder Ashley Johnson who managed wins in the LJ leaping 6.58m and hurdling to victory in the B string 110mh in 16.8s, also achieving sb's in the 100m 11.1s and triple jump 12.69m, adding pb's in the shot 10.41m and javelin 40.65m, accumulating 38 of Oxfords overall points. Other performances to add came from distance runner James Cody who despite finishing 5th in each race he still managed 2 sb's after covering the 1500m, 3000sc and 800m events all in a day. David Gain flew to a personal best in the 100m b string clocking a respectable 11.2s also managing a fine win in the 200 stopping the clock at 22.6s respectively, Vet Pete O'keefe took on all throwing events earning himself a pb in the hammer.
