Steve Male won the mens Oxford Mail X/C competition held at Culham on Sunday by ten seconds from team mate Darrell Bellinger, Aaron Burgess 13th Brian Green 22nd, Vasily Zverev 33rd Phillip Huxley 52nd & Trevor Dixon 68th made up the winning team who finished seventy points in front of Swindon Harriers.
Martha Lloyd returned to racing after a long lay off to finish a very creditable 15th in the ladies race, Gwyneth Hueter 34th, Caroline Winton 80th, Lisa Sammons 81st & Christine Marshall 92nd.
The U11's excelled in the mud at Culham with Brittany Egden fnishin 2nd, Ciara Huxley 5th, Georgina Moss 6th, Ellie Millington 24th & Emily Wood 30th, in the boys Freddie Sunderland finished 6th, Jack Haile 9th, George King-Thompson 13th, Aidan Bradley 23rd & Finn Johnson-Ward 24th.
Beth Hawtin won the U13 Girls competition by twelve seconds over Radley's Megan Humphreys, Storm Sunderland running in her first Oxford Mail race finished third with the pocket rocket Elisha Evans finishing 9th, Mya Walker 11th, Beth Mulvany 14th & Billie Meadowcroft 18th the girls now take over the lead of the team competition.
Nat Jones & George Henry had great runs in the U13 Boys to finish 4th & 6th.
Lauren Hawtin won the U15/U17 girls race by a big margin over Banbury's Connie McMillan, Jade Walker was 3rd, Rebecca Byren 5th Elissa Clarke 7th Ellie Burns 13th & Kathryn Munday 23rd.
U15/U17 boys Edward Nesbitt 7th, Matthieu Marshall 8th, Josh Tack 13th, Ben Upjohn 17th, Ryan Meredith 23rd, James Cody24th & Tim Slack 48th.
