Name
The name of the Club shall be Oxford City Athletic Club.

Patron
The patron of the Club shall be The Lord Mayor of Oxford.

Headquarters
The headquarters of the Club shall be at Horspath Road Athletics Track.

Colours
The colours of the Club shall be royal blue and red with a white diagonal stripe (royal blue on top) and royal blue shorts.

Aims and Objectives
The aim of the Club shall be to provide athletic competition, coaching and training to its members, and to expand the athletic opportunities in the community.

Membership
Membership shall be open to all regardless of age, sex, ability, disability, ethnic group, religion or sexual orientation and shall be by annual subscription.

Affiliations
The Club shall be affiliated to the South of England Athletic Association and such other bodies associated with athletics as the Committee shall, from time to time, see fit.

Rules
Members are expected to abide by the rules and constitution of the Club, and also the relevant rules of bodies to which the club is affiliated. Any infringement shall be dealt with as described in the appropriate section of the Club rides. Rules may be changed at the AGM. To be valid, proposals for rule changes must he seconded and received in writing by the General Secretary at least 42 days before the date of the meeting.

The officers of the Club shall he elected at the Annual General Meeting and shall be...-

The Committee
The Club shall be administered by the Management Committee. Members Of this Committee shall be:-
1) The Chairman
2) The General Secretary
3) The Treasurer
4) The Membership Secretary
5) The Junior Secretary
6) The Track and Field Secretary
7) The Road Running Secretary
8) The Cross Country Secretary
Plus such co-options to ensure adequate representation of the various Committees of the Club.

Annual General Meeting
The Club shall hold an Annual General Meeting each year to elect officers for the following year, approve the accounts and consider any properly seconded proposals put forward by any member. The AGM shall be held not later than the last day of November. Notice of the AGM shall be served on all paid up members at least 21 days before the date of the AGM. The rules governing the AGM are those found in the current Club rules.

Extra Orddinary General Meeting
An Extraordinary General Meeting shall be called by the General Secretary, on receipt of a request for such a meeting in writing by at least 2 5 paid up members. This request to specify the reason for the meeting - and the business to be transacted thereat.
The committee shall also have the power to call an EGM.
In either case notice of an EGM shall be served on each fully paid up member, not less than 21 days before the date of the meeting. The rules governing the conduct of the EGM are those found in the current Club rules.

Changes to the Constitution

Changes to the Constitution may only be made at an EGM called specifically for the purpose.

Dissolution of the Club

In the event of the members voting for the dissolution of the Club, the assets of the Club shall be disposed of, by the Management Committee, in such a manner as they see fit; provided that it shall be for the benefit of the sport of Athletics.
